Bank Holiday

A public holiday in the UK when most businesses, banks, and schools are closed.

Explanation

The UK has several bank holidays throughout the year, including New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Early May Bank Holiday, Spring Bank Holiday, Summer Bank Holiday, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day. Scotland and Northern Ireland have some additional bank holidays.

Example

Boxing Day (26th December) is a bank holiday when many shops have sales.
